Pregnancy confirmed.

We confirmed pregnancy via ultrasound on Rosie. The ultrasound clearly showed two possibly three fetuses. Ultrasound is effective at confirming pregnancy, it however isn't super reliable for providing an accurate puppy count.  We plan to do an X-ray at day 57 to obtain a definitive puppy count before whelping.

I understand how disheartening this news is, especially after Queen missed. As a breeder I'm feeling a bit deflated, it is hard when things don't go according to plan but sometimes that's just the way things go. I have so many wonderful families that have been patiently waiting for a puppy from us and I'm so sad I won't have puppies for them.

That said, we are remaining hopeful for a litter of a couple beautiful, healthy puppies from Rosie. This pregnancy is a repeat of last year’s  breeding, which gave us puppies with excellent conformation and stellar temperaments.

Given the small expected litter size and the potential for both fawn and brindle colors, I will be prioritizing families on the waitlist for this litter who are more flexible regarding sex and color preferences.

Due to the current uncertainty around availability and with no immediate breeding plans until late 2025 or early 2026, I will be referring interested families to other reputable breeders. Please email me if you wish for me to forward your application.
